Molding optical parts is a big challenge due to very tight tolerances and manufacturing induced defects that can severely impact final part function. This webinar is designed to introduce Moldex3D’s capability to simulate, with high precision, all types of optical parts to check if the part will meet dimensional and flatness tolerances. It will also introduce Moldex3D’s ability to simulate residual stress and then predict how this stress will affect optical properties with results such as birefringence and fringed patterns.
