Capillary rheometry is extensively used in both industry and academia to assess the shear/extensional viscosity of thermoplastic materials. However, modeling high-shear-rate capillary flows remains a difficult and challenging problem. In this webinar we demonstrate: (1) how to obtain high-quality material data that are free of viscous heating effectsa, and (2) how to calculate entry pressure losses using the extended generalized Newtonian fluid (GNF-X) model.b
