Moldex3D Sparks Innovation on TMDIA’s Award-Winning Papers

Hsinchu, Taiwan — March 1, 2024 — The Taiwan Mold & Die Industry Association (TMDIA) spares no effort in promoting the development of the mold industry. By strengthening the bridge between the government, academia, and businesses, TMDIA hopes to accelerate the transformation of the mold industry, strengthen research and development, and enhance the industry’s added value.
In 2023, TMDIA held a paper competition that focused on several aspects, such as net-zero carbon emissions, industry-academia collaboration, digital operations, and the latest mold technologies. The awards ceremony took place on October 26th, and three of the award-winning papers were analyzed using Moldex3D. These papers are:
- CAE Scientific Model Testing to Build LITE-ON Mold Knowledge Base by LITE-ON Technology
- Establishment of a Fast Prediction Technology for Photoelasticity Fringes Distribution Based on Mold-flow Analysis, Process Characteristic Extraction, and Machine Learning Techniques by National Taiwan Normal University and National Taiwan University of Science and Technology
- Investigation on the Influence of the Interaction between Bubble Growth and Fiber Orientation on the Geometric Variation of Injected Parts by Tamkang University and Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology
